FEES

The Convention offers a variety of meetings, programmes and services which are likely to suit each participant. BIR does not offer a daily rate and each delegate, regardless of the time spent at the convention, must pay the full registration fee mentioned as below. When mentioned on the registration form, the spouse (not involved in business) receives a complimentary badge and free access the Exhibition and Hospitality areas, the Welcome Reception and the General Assembly. He/she can also participate in any other optional event or sightseeing tour and buy the corresponding ticket(s).

Some social events and sightseeing tours are optional and are to be paid in addition to the registration fees.

The delegate’s registration fee covers:

the participation in the plenary meetings with simultaneous interpretation and in the workshops
the invitation to the Welcome Reception on Monday 2 June 2008
one Divisional Luncheon (to be selected on the registration form) *
access to the exhibition and hospitality area
the accompanying spouse/husband’s complimentary registration: badge, access to the exhibition and hospitality area, to the Welcome Reception and the General Assembly

*One additional ticket can be purchased by the registered delegate for each of the other divisional luncheons for 65€ per lunch. Please indicate on your registration form which divisional luncheon(s) you have selected. Special meals (vegetarian, diet….) can be ordered on the registration form. All on-site requests depend on availability.

800€ if the registration form is received before 25 March 2008
900€ if the registration form is received after 25 March 2008

* Special discount: for those Gold member firms who wish to register more than two delegates, a special discount of 20% will be applied to additional delegates registration fees, provided that all these registration forms are returned to COLLOQUIUM together with corresponding payment.

In order to facilitate your registration we strongly encourage you to register and pay on-line. Preference will be given to credit card payment.

CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY

Cancellation of Registration

Cancellation of the registration must be notified in writing to COLLOQUIUM.
Cancellations before 5 May 2008 will entitle registered delegates to a full refund of the registration fee (minus 50 € to cover administrative expenses).
After 5 May 2008, no refund will be granted, except for serious reasons (health problems, decease of a family member etc.).

Cancellation of Hotel Reservation

Cancellation of the hotel room must be notified in writing (by e-mail or fax) to COLLOQUIUM.
If you cancel your hotel room after 20 April 2008 or if you do not show up on the announced date of arrival you will be charged the equivalent of the price of 2 nights in the hotel and room category of your choice.
Please note the special cancellation conditions of the hotels Hôtel de Paris, Hermitage and Monte Carlo Bay : 3 nights will be charged if you cancel after April 20, whatever the length of your booking.
COLLOQUIUM will do its best to allocate any cancelled room to another delegate to avoid unnecessary costs for you.

CANCELLATION OF THE CONVENTION

In the case of strikes, flood, fire, “force majeure” or any other circumstances beyond the control of BIR resulting in the partial or complete cancellation of the convention (and of any part of its programme), BIR cannot be held liable. No refund of the registration fees or of the hotel pre-payment will be made to BIR registered delegates.
