Provisional Schedule of Meetings

All plenary meetings, committee meetings, divisional luncheons and the exhibition will take place at the Taj Diplomatic Enclave, New Delhi.

Please note that this schedule is tentative and may be subject to small amendments prior to the convention. Additional workshops may be announced at a later stage, and all updates will be available on the BIR website www.bir.org.

Simultaneous interpreting into English, German and French will be provided during the plenary sessions.

The workshop will focus on the current policies in India for promoting Recycling and updates on the shipping and logistics challenges for Indian importers, covering three main topics:

  • Promoting recycling in India in line with the Clean India programme known as "Swachh Bharat"
  • Discussion on FDI and Make In India campaign
  • Overview of the new recycling policy of the Government of India
