REGISTRATION GUIDELINES

CONDITIONS OF ATTENDANCE

The BIR World Recycling Convention & Exhibition 2026 in Malaga (hereinafter “the Convention”) is accessible exclusively to fully registered delegates representing member companies and national associations affiliated to BIR, which have paid their 2026 annual membership dues to BIR, as well as to special guests and Observers (subject to conditions).

Membership within a national federation affiliated to BIR does not automatically entitle a company to register delegates for the Convention at the reduced BIR member rates.

An “Observer” registration status may be granted to representatives from non-member companies for a maximum of one Convention. After that, each Observer must ensure that their company joins BIR as a member in order to attend any future Conventions. Please note that for new members to be eligible to register for BIR Malaga 2026, membership applications must be submitted and full payment received by 1 October 2026 at the latest.

The non-member fee will be charged if the membership status is not valid on the date of registration.

Registrations will not be processed without valid payment.

A confirmation will only be sent by email once the above conditions are met and payment has been received.

Each participant must register with their own unique email address in order to gain access to products and services related to the Convention, such as the mobile app, conference proceedings, online evaluations and the printed participants’ list.

Registration must be completed via the online platform provided on the BIR Convention website.
The registration service will be carried out by BIR, and the networking mobile app will be provided by Swapcard.
