If I had to choose one favourite BIR memory, it would be the opening of BIR's first fully in-person Convention after COVID. It was the first time the global recycling community had come together in more than two years, and I hadn't realized how much I had missed everyone until that moment. BIR provided the forum to reconnect—not just with colleagues, but with friends. That experience reminded me that while BIR is about business, it is also about the relationships that unite our global industry. Those friendships are truly invaluable.
