Mohammed Razi Siddiqui – MetalWize Inc. (ARE)

My favourite BIR Convention memory takes me back to Miami, Florida, in 2014 — my very first Convention. As someone new to the industry, I arrived with excitement, curiosity and a little intimidation. Walking into the Fontainebleau Hotel, surrounded by some of the biggest names in recycling, I felt I had reached the heart of the global metal trading scene. People I had only heard about were suddenly colleagues, mentors and future business partners. That Convention changed my perspective forever. It was not just my first; it was the moment I realised I was part of a global community, and at the beginning of a journey that continues today.
