Copenhagen meeting will offer well-rounded market insight

Non-ferrous metals recycling is about reusing the discarded. We create a valuable, globally-recognized and environmentally-beneficial reuse for this valuable resource. We all know this, but delivering this message remains such an important narrative, and one that needs to be supported by statistics, clear messaging and consistency. The BIR Non-Ferrous Metals Division board is working diligently on a number of initiatives in this context, and we will be able to share more information with you on this subject in the months to come.

BIR’s flagship event in Copenhagen draws ever closer and with it the anticipation of another excellent Convention. It is our opportunity to reconnect with friends, make new connections and broaden our understanding, with a large selection of plenary sessions and exhibition booths to visit.

Our Non-Ferrous Metals Division has compiled a really interesting and balanced mix of speakers for Copenhagen, with a consumer, a metal merchant and an economist all contributing their views of the market. Given the turbulence of the past few weeks, such a panel will provide us with a well-rounded insight into the current times which, I am sure, will be incredibly valuable to us all.
