The volatility experienced in recent weeks has once again highlighted that, while change is inevitable, the fundamental principles of our industry remain constant. Building and maintaining strong relationships as well as being dependable and reliable business partners are, and will always be, central to our collective success.

There are many opportunities across our industry to connect, collaborate and strengthen these relationships. For me, BIR has played a pivotal role in this journey over many years. The relationships built through BIR are now the relationships I rely on most. While BIR is, at its core, an international trade organisation, it is also a place where trust is established and lifelong friendships are formed.
