Malaysia set to overhaul the management of its material recovery facilities and the quality requirements of its imports of scrap and waste

In these last months before implementation, and after consultation with companies and associations and other stakeholders within and outside Malaysia, SIRIM QAS International is promoting later in September its Guidelines on the Certificate of Approval (CoA) of Metal Scrap & Waste Paper and the Approval Scheme for Material Recovery Facilities in Malaysia.

BIR will participate in this meeting on behalf of the global recycling industry and report back to its members.
