Thank you for a wonderful face-to-face BIR event in Brussels!

Dear BIR members, Dear participants,

Thanks to you, our BIR Global Trading Forum in Brussels last week was a great success with more than 475 participants, representing 295 companies from 41 countries.

When we gave the final “go” to the in-person event, earlier in July this year, there were still many uncertainties and we did not dare dreaming of such a success. We worked hard to offer you this first face-to-face BIR global event after a too long pandemic period of time and our greatest reward was to see so many of you, so many smiles (yes, we could see you smile under the mask) and feel this energising atmosphere of optimism regarding the future.

The networking area was vibrant with discussions, the welcome reception was friendly and fun and the special convention edition of "The Challenge" was, as always, stunning, bringing on stage the “crème de la crème” of recycling.

But don’t stop here. Do continue to enjoy the unique series of webinars on all BIR commodities scheduled throughout November, to get the latest information about the global markets. 

Now the BIR Secretariat is already preparing for you our 2022 BIR Global Recycling Conventions, so… one more reason to stay tuned.
