Registrations now open for BIR World Recycling Convention & Exhibition 2026, Gothenburg, Sweden (31 May) 1-3 June 2026

The BIR World Recycling Convention & Exhibition brings together the international recycling community to strengthen trade relationships, navigate market realities, and scale our industry’s impact together. 

We are delighted to be heading to Gothenburg, Sweden, for the first time, to host another successful global industry gathering. Following record-breaking attendance in 2025, we anticipate welcoming more than 2,000 delegates onsite across the three days of the Convention.

The BIR 2026 Gothenburg Convention will take place at the Swedish Exhibition & Congress Centre - Gothia Towers, Scandinavia’s largest integrated hotel and conference venue. 

 

With large meeting and exhibition spaces, a large number of hotel rooms and five popular bars and restaurants all under one roof, the venue offers an efficient and seamless experience for delegates.

Located in the heart of Gothenburg, the venue is surrounded by a vibrant mix of waterfront, restaurants and cultural attractions. Known for its sustainability leadership and innovation ecosystem, Gothenburg provides an ideal setting for bringing the global recycling industry together.
