BIR Textiles Division initiates membership campaign

More companies involved in textiles recycling need to be aware of the benefits of a BIR membership. This was the conclusion reached by the BIR Textiles Division after their last meeting in September 2022 in the BIR offices in Brussels.

In order to give an overview of current challenges and the solutions a BIR membership can provide, the Textiles Division prepared a promotional flyer that sums up all there is to know about the advantages an international representation can offer any company involved in the collection, trade and recycling of used textiles at a global level.

This initiative precedes a special Textiles event hosted on the occasion of the upcoming BIR World Recycling Convention & Exhibition in Amsterdam, where a full morning will be dedicated to the various aspects of textiles recycling with an emphasis on the aim of a global textiles circular economy and the current challenges that seem to hinder the achievement of this goal.

While the Textiles Division is bringing this special programme together, we ask all our textiles member companies and national associations with textiles divisions to disseminate this flyer to contribute to a more vibrant and interactive representation of the sector within BIR.
