‘Welcome back’ edition of the BIR World Recycling Convention in Barcelona: one of the most dynamic events in the history of our organisation

BIR Conventions remain the foremost meeting place of the international recycling industry, as was once again proven during our recent ‘Welcome back’ edition of BIR’s famous World Recycling Conventions. In the prestigious setting of the 5-star InterContinental Hotel in Barcelona, a record number of 1300 registered participants from 61 countries created one of the most dynamic events in the history or our organization. It was widely acknowledged that the programmes offered by the commodity divisions and committees, the social events as well as the networking opportunities surpassed everybody’s expectations, and the new format of an open-space plenary meeting area provided constant visibility of the important topics addressed in the meetings and the vivid interactions of speakers, panelists and the audience.

It is important to point out that BIR Conventions offer a wealth of information on markets, commodities and legislation. We therefore issue press releases and proceedings to sum up these very important facts and figures for our members to take home.

Save the date: Dubai is around the corner – (16) 17-18 October 2022
