Shredder Plenary Session :

Putting safety and technical advances in the spotlight

Shredder Committee new

As observed by the BIR Shredder Committee’s Chairman Scott Newell III at last year’s meeting in Barcelona, ongoing growth in shredder numbers worldwide is ensuring their ever-greater practical role in achieving decarbonization goals. At the same time, however, shredder operators are being asked to contend with an array of challenges, not least higher operating costsincreased battery-related fire risks and testing emission targetsThe meeting in Amsterdam on May 23 will address not only the Committee’s response to this challenging operational environment - such as through its annual shredder safety survey - but also latest technical developments designed to boost shredder efficiencies. Surely a must-attend event for all shredder operators eager to keep an eye on latest trends and future business prospects.
